a. that by the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. 1977/Kpts/PD.620/4/2009 concerning temporary ban on the entry of pigs and pig derivative products from swine influenza affected countries into the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;
b. that based on official reports of World Health Organization (WHO) that stated Human Swine Influenza pandemic, that affected from human to human or from human to pig;
c. that based on consideration as intended above, and also to keep on territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia free from Human Swine Influenza, it is necessary to ban on the entry of pigs and pig derivative products into the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE CONCERNING BAN ON THE ENTRY OF PIGS AND PIG DERIVATIVE PRODUCTS INTO TERRITORY OF THE UNITARY STATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Ban to import pigs and pig derivative products into the territory of Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Ban on import as intended in Article 1 is based on official information from World Health Organization (WHO), World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) and/or information from many sources in human health and/or animal health field.
Ban on import as intended in Article 1 subject to live pig, pig cement, pig ova, biological products in the form of Swine Influenza Virus (SIV) vaccine, unprocessed pig skin and feather (bristles), as well as unprocessed carcass and pork (including bony and boneless pork), through control on the import according regulations in the Animal Quarantine field.
Import of pigs and pig derivative products based on Decree of Director General of Husbandry on behalf of Minister of Agriculture that is in transporting from origin country before April 29, 2009 can be implemented.
By stipulation of this Regulation, Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. 1877/Kpts/PD.620/4/2009 concerning Temporary Ban on the Entry of Pigs and Pig Derivative Products from Swine Influenza Affected Country into the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, shall be revoked and declared null and void.
This Regulation shall come into force on the date of stipulation.
